  Midland Environmental 2008

Midland Environmental provides a comprehensive pest prevention service to all our clients regardless of the size of the business or domestic property. Our pest prevention contracts are specifically designed for rodents and insects only, but we also offer rabbit and bird control programmes for premises which cannot be proofed due to their design or location.

Our standard pest prevention programme includes an agreed number of routine surveys to be carried out (depending on the risk of re-infestation) at equal intervals throughout a year. Permanent bait points are located throughout your premises both inside and on external walls and perimeter walls and fences. During the survey our technician will determine if any pests have invaded the premises and if so, take action to eradicate the infestation while on site. All materials used to eradicate an infestation and any additional visits required are included within the cost of the contract.

We provide your premises with a pest control programme report book, which will include all the relevant safety and technical data for pesticides used on your premises to comply with all aspects of the Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986, and the Control of Substances hazardous to health regulations 1999, and our own risk assessment of the site in accordance with our Health & Safety Policy for employees. Field Inspection reports are completed by our technician every time he visits your premises including any proofing recommendations to reduce risk of re-infestation to a minimum.

Quality system audits for all premises can be supplied for food premises if required.
 

These audits are carried out by independent auditors to monitor our system of work and provide an un-biased view of how improvements can be made to our service for you. They will also recommend any improvements that may be required by the client in proofing or good housekeeping.

Our prevention programmes therefore act as insurance against your premises becoming infested by pests, providing you with complete peace of mind and evidence that you are exercising ‘due diligence' by taking all practical steps to avoid committing an offence under the Food Safety Act 1990.

We presently carry out pest prevention programmes for all premises from National Utility companies, Warehouse and Distribution, Light and Heavy manufacturing, Food manufacturers, Schools and Universities, Hotels, Pubs, restaurants and domestic properties. In fact we have tailored a prevention programme for just about any type or size of business or property.
